Jean Paul Gaultier é um dos estilistas mais criativos da atualidade. Sempre procurando inovar suas criações, o francês explora vários temas e estilos na hora de criar uma nova coleção. E geralmente ficamos boquiabertos ao ver um de seus desfiles. Não foi diferente com o último, apresentado ontem na Semana de Alta-Costura de Paris. Com um tema vintage glamouroso e inspirado na década de 40, o designer nos surpreendeu ao convidar a dançarina burlesca, Dita Von Teese para desfilar. Mas, como não convidá-la? O desfile tinha tudo a ver com Dita. Ao analisar a coleção, temos a nítida impressão que estamos em um espetáculo burlesco: as produções são exageradas (no bom sentido), sedutoras e chamam bastante a atenção de nossos olhares. Penas, flores, transparência, rendas e ombreiras, além da típica silhueta Gaultier, predominaram no desfile. A maquiagem era bem anos 40: batom vermelho escuro e olhar marcado e expressivo. Jean Paul Gaultier is one of the most creative fashion designers of his generation. Always searching for the new, the french designer explores many themes and styles in time of creating a new collection. And as usual we were speechless by seeing his fashion parades. It wasn't different from the last show presented yesterday in the Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week. With a vintage glamourous and 40s-inspired theme, the designer surprised us by inviting Burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese to parade. But, how could he miss it? The fashion show was inspired by her. By looking carefully to the collection, we've got a a clear impression that we're in a Burlesque show: the productions are exaggerated, seductive and caught the eyes of whoever is watching it. Feathers, flowers, transparency, lace and shoulder pads predominated in the parade, besides the typical Gaultier silhouette. The make-up was very 40s: dark red lipstick and marked and expressive eyes. Below, some of the looks of the collection.
