At Gecko Galz this January, we're having a busy month. 

All month long, until the 29th, we have the blog customer challenge and the theme is 

Pre-Raphaelite Dreams.

We also have the monthly Image Challenge and the monthly Christmas Image Challenge, as well as 4 Facebook challenges.

For my DT day at Gecko Galz I decided to make an altered notebook to keep all my DT information together. I chose an image from the Beautiful Buddha collage sheet.

I distressed the edges of the Buddha image and layered it onto papers from the Winter Palace ATC set. I added lacy die cut borders made from kraft card to match the hard cover of the notebook, inking the edges with Vintage Photo ink. I embellished the Buddha with tiny gemstones and Stickles. I found some lovely natural coloured flower trim in my lace collection and added this to the base of the panel, adding a gemstone on the centre of each flower. Tim Holtz 'Small Talk' stickers with inspirational words were inked and added along the dark blue mat layer. To finish I added strings of gold flat-backed beads that have a metallic lustre.
